Epson ColorWorks C6550A Colour Label Printer

The Epson ColorWorks C6550A brings enterprise-class colour label printing directly onto production lines. Built around Epson’s PrecisionCore TFP® printhead with Nozzle Verification Technology, it uses four individual UltraChrome DL pigment ink cartridges (C, M, Y, K) for vibrant, waterproof, and chemical-resistant labels. The printer achieves maximum resolution of 1200 × 1200 dpi, ensuring crisp text, graphics, and barcode clarity.

It handles media up to 211.9 mm (approximately 8 inches) wide, accepting roll or fanfold forms, suitable for various label stocks—matte, glossy, synthetic, or high-gloss film. The integrated auto-cutter supports both individual label cuts and batch-counted separation, and delivers exceptional durability (up to 1.5 million cuts on paper labels, 500k on synthetic).

Connectivity includes USB 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet (1000Base‑T / 100Base‑TX / 10Base‑T), and an extended D‑sub‑25 interface for industrial integration. It features built-in fonts, barcode and 2D symbologies like QR, DataMatrix, GS1 DataBar, PDF417, MaxiCode, and more. Supported across Windows and Mac OS platforms, and powered by robust firmware, the C6550A ensures production-grade reliability with a compact footprint (~444 × 515 × 326 mm) and ~25.5 kg weight.
