The Honeywell 8690i, distributed by Mindware, is a wearable RFID mini mobile computer designed for warehousing, logistics, and retail, enhancing productivity in inventory and order picking. it combines 1D/2D barcode scanning, RFID tag reading, and a full keypad for data entry, streamlining complex workflows. The device, supplied by Mindware, features an ergonomic glove mount, leaving hands free for tasks, with non-absorbent materials for easy cleaning. Mindware’s support ensures IP65 sealing, 2,000 x 0.5m tumbles, and operation from -20°C to 50°C. Mindware’s Honeywell partnership provides Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi, and a 2.2” display for real-time data. The 8690i, backed by Mindware’s service centers, includes a replaceable battery and Operational Intelligence support, ensuring reliability and cost efficiency. Measuring a compact 95.7 × 56 × 39.4 mm and weighing ~211 g, the device attaches comfortably via ring or glove mounts.
